Come join us for the Great Day of Service on April 17th, 2010!
This day will include a number of different projects, on the church campus and in the community, in which you can join with others to make a difference.
Our goal is to have over 100 people serving on this day; we hope you will be a part of it!
We will gather on the 3rd floor of the Wesley building at 7:30am for breakfast, sharing communion at 8:15am and then our projects will begin.
As part of our continuing support for UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), we are collecting items for layette kits to be distributed to those in disaster areas around the world. The items needed for each kit are:
- 6 cloth diapers
- 2 shirts or 2 one-piece body suits
- 2 baby washcloths
- 2 gowns or sleepers
- 2 diaper pins
- 1 sweater open in the front (knitting directions available at the church office)
- 2 receiving blankets
